Growing up overseas in Tokyo, Japan, Clare Heintzelman attended the International School of the Sacred Heart. It was through this experience at a small all girls international school that she began to take an interest in women’s health which ultimately led her to pursue her dream of becoming a nurse. Upon graduation from Villanova University with a Bachelor of Science in Nursing, Clare joined Sibley Memorial Hospital’s Labor & Delivery Team operating on a fast paced team serving women and their families throughout the District and surrounding communities. Over the last 6 years, her role has been as both a bedside as well as charge nurse, working together with the team in their quest to deliver outstanding care. While working full time in this capacity, Clare began pursuit of her graduate studies at Georgetown, successfully completing and graduating in December 2021. Clare currently lives in Washington DC and in her spare time enjoys travel, reading and golf.
