Dr. Kevin Jiles
Dr. Kevin Jiles is a board-certified obstetrician-gynecologist dedicated to providing compassionate, evidence-based care for patients. Dr. Jiles strives to build lasting relationships with patients founded on trust, education, and shared decision-making.
Dr. Jiles earned his medical degree from Mercer University School of Medicine in Savannah, Georgia and completed residency training in Obstetrics and Gynecology at Naval Medical Center San Diego. Dr. Jiles served in the United States Navy as an OB/GYN for eight years with duty stations at Naval Hospital Okinawa in Okinawa, Japan as well as Walter Reed National Military Medical Center in Bethesda, Maryland. While at Walter Reed, Dr. Jiles also worked at Sibley Memorial Hospital in Washington, D.C. as an OB/GYN Hospitalist.
Passionate about empowering patients to make informed healthcare decisions, Dr. Jiles provides comprehensive services ranging from routine annual exams and contraception counseling to prenatal care, high-risk pregnancy management, menopause care, and treatment of complex gynecologic conditions. He performs both major and minor gynecologic procedures and is trained in minimally-invasive techniques. He believes that every patient deserves to feel heard, respected, and supported throughout their healthcare journey.
Outside of the office, Dr. Jiles enjoys spending time with family, friends, and his two dogs, Reba and Samson, as well as traveling, hiking, and trying new experiences.
Things You Might Not Know About Me
TRAVEL MEMORIES: I’ve had the pleasure of traveling to many countries where my favorite thing to do is try new foods. Thus far, my favorite locations have been in Japan, Cambodia, and France. I’ve been to four continents so far and hope to travel to all seven in the future.
SOMEDAY I PLAN TO GO TO: Antarctica, Galapagos Islands, Machu Picchu, Azores Islands
THESE ARE SOME THINGS I DO IN MY SPARE TIME: Hiking, traveling, reading, going to concerts, trying new restaurants with friends
A REALLY BIG ACCOMPLISHMENT: Hiking Mt. Fuji from the very first station. It definitely tested me.
FAVORITE BOOK: The Harry Potter series, which I’ve read far too many times
