Dr. Scott Osmun is a board-certified Ob/Gyn physician who has been practicing in the Metropolitan DC area for over a decade. His interest in Medicine started at a young age and stemmed from a medical illness during his Freshman year of college. He completed his undergraduate studies at the College of William & Mary and received his medical degree from the Wayne State University School of Medicine in his home state of Michigan. Dr. Osmun moved to Washington DC for his Ob/Gyn Residency at George Washington University Hospital and finished in 2007.
As a Bloom provider, Dr. Osmun cares for women in all stages of their lives. He operates at Sibley Memorial Hospital doing both major and minimally invasive Gynecologic procedures.
Outside of his practice, Dr. Osmun thrives on traveling far and wide. He enjoys documenting his adventures through photographs and you might even see examples of his work around the office! He also enjoys weekend trips to the Eastern Shore of Maryland, hiking in Shenandoah National Park and spending time with his family, friends and two dogs. He is a member of the Board of Libraries at his alma mater and regularly returns to Willamsburg, VA for “working weekends.” He has also recently taken up biking and enjoys finding new trails inside and outside of the city.
