THE NEW SIBLEY HOSPITAL
On September 26, 2016 the new Sibley Memorial Hospital opened to the public for patient care. Located at 5255 Loughboro Rd. in Northwest Washington DC, this state-of-the-art facility has 200 private patient rooms and over 475,000 square feet of treatment space. Dr. Joan Loveland and Dr. Scott Osmun are excited to continue providing Labor & Delivery care in the new Women’s & Infants’ Services department. It occupies two floors in the main tower and includes:
- 18 private labor, delivery and recovery rooms
- 50 private postpartum rooms, each with a sleep sofa and a 55” HD TV
- Special care nursery with 18 private rooms, including six rooms that can accommodate twins
- Advanced infant security system
- Dedicated lactation area and lounge area
- Maternal fetal medicine services for high-risk pregnancies
