Dr. Kathleen Bren
Dr. Kathleen Bren is a compassionate, experienced OB/GYN who brings years of expertise to Bloom. Born and raised in Washington, DC, Dr. Bren has a deep-rooted commitment to providing patient-centered care and forming lasting relationships with her patients. Her approach focuses on supporting women through every stage of their health journey with a special interest in preventative care, personalized wellness, and reproductive health.
Dr. Bren completed her undergraduate studies at Cornell University, then received her medical degree from George Washington University School of Medicine. She went on to complete her residency in Obstetrics and Gynecology at Medstar WHC/Georgetown in Washington, DC. Her commitment to comprehensive care and her emphasis on empowering patients make her a perfect addition to our team.
Outside the office, Dr. Bren enjoys spending time at home with her family, tackling house projects, cooking, and hosting gatherings with loved ones. She’s also an avid traveler with cherished memories from her trips to Thailand and Greece.
